Live gets a bad rap. I used to be one of those people badmouthing it. But when you think about it, 3 bucks a month isn't bad. it's got some great things like Netflix and now last fm that really make it worth it in the long run. I am always watching game demos and review vids etc etc etc.

I already had a netflix sub so that is a freebie for me.

Then there is the muliplayer part of it and recently they added parties to live. You can party anything. want to start a dr. who. partyt through netflix or Lives own pay per view system? Go for it. And since you are getting it for Rockband..... oh lord wait until you see rock central. And take a look around the store or join in on some game nights with other Bands. When you are ordering that Xbox live from newegg (NEVER BUY THAT FROM MS DIRECTLY), better get some points. Your going to want some more tunes.
