I've been reading a few articles on this the past couple days, and i'm pretty bumbed out we're not gonna see anything cool until 2011.

Has anyone actually come up with a scientific theory on how the world will end with this thing? Are there even legitimate scientists that think this is a possibility? Or is it just a bunch of retarded doomsday preachers, with no background in this subject?

It would be too small, and disappear in moments. In any case, they will only send the hadrons in one direction this week. The collisions start in October. Until then, at least, we're not all doomed.
