The last time I used Hammer, to view the 3D panel I had to place and position a camera or whatever it was into one of the 2D views.

click the camera tool. Then click where you want it to be, and drag towards what you would like to see, then release.

I dont usually post on here but that was prob the sickest concing video ive even seen. Really high quality vid as well makes tfc looks like it has more than 2 pixels
