Help Find a Wallpaper Changer Please
So, although win 7 has a wallpaper changer built in, it only randomizes them and you can't set a specific order.
I have sets of walls that are the same but in different colours/styles. The best I've found is EvJO Wallpaper Changer which is exactly what I am looking for. It has an option, when run, it changes the wall and exits after 30sec. So I can run it with Window Scheduler (so it isn't running all the time.) Shame the interface/window you have to work with is so small. Makes sorting walls hard work. Edit: I can run/exit the app with task Scheduler anyway. So just the order feature is what I am after. Any finds are welcomed.

Windows 7.
Just rename the pictures to something like 01 - PictureName 02 - Lolname 03 - roflname And turn off the "shuffle" at the bottom. It'll go in order based on filename at that point. |

Yeah, but pretty tedious. That's why I went looking for one.

Shouldn't a batch file be able to do that for you?
i.e. run a for loop a number of times = to the amount of files in the directory append each file name with "(var i) - " in front? |

You really think writing a batch file is less hassle than just doing it himself?

He never specified how many files. For all I know there could be hundreds.
Either way, giving it a second thought, even that wouldn't work since he wants a specific order. DISREGARD MY PREVIOUS POST. :< </cantthink> |

Wouldn't renaming the files in the sequence you want be just as tedious as loading them into a wallpaper rotator in the sequence you want?

I found Wally. Seems OK. (Minus the nice transition effect 7 has).
It does a bit, Squeek., yes. Unless it was one that presented you with previews of your walls (like Win 7) that you could drag into order. So..yeah, unless one does that I might as well just rename after all I suppose...as I doubt i'll come across one.
