Avoiding CRC errors on DVDs?
I started working on a Mame cab about a month and a half ago, and last night I set up the computer I was going to stick in it.
Before hand, I burned DVDs containing Mame and all of the roms using DiscJuggler. When I tried to pull the data off of them onto the Mame computer, I always got Cyclic Redundancy Check errors. I tried burning them at a slower speed, and still the same issue. Any idea on how to avoid this?

Cyclic Redundancy Check generally means that a drive is dying.
If you have the files, why don't you copy them over via the network or a USB HDD? |

The Mame PC is not connected to a network, and I don't have a USB HDD.
Also, strangely enough, a CD I burned worked just fine.

What speed are you burning at? Might try slowing it down, this will help avoid errors.

I turned it down to 2X in DiscJuggler, still the same results.
