idd too dark but nice. Nothing tooo- special. I like the exiting resup scene but it doesn't lead onto anything interesting.

I like it, I think the light level is realistic rather then being buffed up for a vid, it shows real game shit that wasn't all prefect, and seems like it's gonna be pretty sweet. Keep it up wakka!!

For it to look almost black you must have damn dark desktop settings lol, I understand with Dr.Satan means and I understand the gripe about it being a little bit dark because well it's meant to be, it's a trailer... the actual movie will be bright and fruity, like the others. But if this video is almost "black" then you should adjust your desktop brightness imo.

dude, I'm not being funny. it's too dark. Everything on this monitor is much brighter than my desktop PC and I still cant see textures on monkey very well at all. Around the door in the first few seconds running out of T spawn. the walls are almost black.
fuck it made a SS for you.. this has nothing on monitor brightness, you can see from the desktop colours.... SO BELIEVE ME WHEN I SAY IT'S TOO DARK... http://www.awillden.co.uk/ff/forum/w...uckingdark.jpg |

I like this a lot. The music really helps it a lot. Are there any effects to make the video go brighter then back to dark for every beat? Something like a fast bloom effect? I think that'd make it even better.

woah calm down Elmo ! Yeh that bit's dark, it adds to the effect and brings emphasis on the medic.
Yeh kube funny you should mention that, I have used it in the actual movie I'm currently about 5minutes into it, toying with going for a 15minute epic or keeping a short and sweet 7minute. |

in case ppl don't know, you first need to apply a gamma correction to any game footage you capture to get it into the same colour-space as what you'd see looking at your monitor when in game (by default video cards apply a very different gamma setting for games than for desktop stuff [including videos]). whatever you want to do with it after that with any brightness/contrast/clever-effects/etc filters is obviously completely up to you, but an initial gamma correction is needed before all that whatever look you want to achieve.
