There was a reason. Also, your freedom of speech is not violated here. You can say whatever you want. You have that ability. However, the bill of rights says nothing about it preserving you from the punishment that you might receive from exercising your freedom of speech within an environment that limits it (not restricts it), especially informal environments like the Fortress Forever general board.
I could call all the admins on this board a bunch of blank blank blanks, and my freedom of speech would be exercised. I would then get perma-banned from these forums, but I acknowledge that my freedom of speech was not violated. I just suffered a consequence of using my freedom of speech. That's not the removal thereof. L2COMMONSENSE. |

Freedom of Speech does not apply to privately owned things. This forum is privately owned, and, as such, it does not apply here. The owner can set whatever rules he wants and do whatever he wants to do.
This is how Freedom of Speech works. It has nothing to do with saying whatever you want wherever you want. It has everything to do with saying whatever you want in public, non privately owned places.

lol @ the bill of rights.
I think the forum moderation is actually quite good here in that it does take quite alot for action to be taken, which is the way it should be really. |

Not sure why this topic has gone on this long. If you don't like our rules then you don't have to be a part of our community. BUT our rules are not up for discussion.
Just so everyone is on the same page here, THESE ARE THE FORUM RULES (I suggest everybody reads them).
