Greyed out classes on Create Server

Hey guys,

I want to practice my concing, however I can't practice online because my ping is too high, (I'm a New Zealander)

I went to create a server, I chose my map, I went into game options, and made every class limit 0, I then started the map.

I chose blue, but I couldn't choose a class, all the classes were greyed out, like on 2fort, when you try choose Civilian, but it doesn't let you.

I tried different maps (I have the .lua for EVERY map, I checked) I tried different settings, cr_scout 1 etc...

Help pleaseeeee

FYI I used search, found nothing

Try smacking your tab key a few times with the class selection screen up. Sometimes, I have to do this to make them brighten and become clickable.
Make sure you DO have the lua files. Check your maps directory. Downloading off of a server will most likey not hand you the lua files.
Make sure the lua files are working properly. When you start a local server, bring up the console and look for any LUA errors.
Sometimes, the LUA won't work, and it won't output any errors. So, the LUA could be failing?

I dunno.

Where do I get the .lua files from???

I read in a thread about base_conc.lua

however, I went to the download link the person provided, but the link must have been too old, because it didn't work.

We're talking 2fort, well and shutdown2 this isn't working on. Was talking to him in game last night and he tried 3 standard maps and couldn't select the classes.

That's odd. Check the 'includes' folder in the 'maps' folder within 'steam/steamapps/sourcemods/FortressForever' and make sure you actually have files in there. I think class selection might not work if you're missing those.

I have 18 .lua's in my Includes folder..

base_* stuff

Your missing the steam/steamapps/fortressforever/maps/mapname.lua . If youm have the .lua I bet it's spelled wrong then.
