Notepad is gay - Not looking for a replacement, looking for a fix

I swear. It seems like every time I hit Ctrl + S to save my notepad file, it moves the cursor about a full tab length backwards in my file.

Is there a fix for this?

You are fucking gay Kube .. Notepad is the best tool ever invented .. the programming capabilities are ENDLESS with it. But ya Notepad++ ftw, thats what I use.

Notepad++ is as light weight as Notepad which is one reason why it's so great. It adds a TON of features but loads as fast at regular Notepad.

Dl'ed Notepad++, doesn't have date/time function(F5) like notepad does, the plugin to get it to work doesn't work, and Every time I open a notepad file in it, I have to click the smaller X for each file I open. I can't simply click the big fucking red X to close everything. This is gayer than notepad, I'm switching back. I was hoping to find a fix for the Notepad thing, but apparently, you all are bent on me switching to ++. That's like telling someone to switch to a Mac because it doesn't have right clicking capabilities. I have principles people...

Did you even explore the immense amount of preferences it has?

I used pspad, I like it .. it's nice .. but I prefer notepad++ because it's lightweight and portable.
