nothing to do with ff: my steam isnt working!

im trying to talk to people, but nobodys responding, and after thinking for a good hour that people just dont want to talk to me, im starting to get supicios that they aent recieveing my messages, and its REALLY irritating !!!! gahhhhh

help! ive restarted my computer and steam and nthings working@!

I haven't gotten any Steam messages for the last few days, and considering how often my huuuuge friends list messages me I'm thinking that this might be a generic bug going on.

Way to break Steam chat Valve, gg.

Welcome to the world of Valve! Get used to it as it's a common thing for stuff to get messed up from one of their updates and not fixed for long periods of time.

Friends has always been unreliable. It's actually really good compared to what it was originally (it was complete mess in the beta stages).

We should all be thankful our kick butt mod hadn't converted to the OBS as the last update they release broke a lot of mods (which they haven't completely fixed yet BTW).

My recommendation is for you just to hang tight and see if it eventually gets fixed and to start using IRC for your gaming communication needs.

You might also try stopping Steam and deleting your CleintRegistry.blob file and then log back in and see if that fixes it as well.
