Yeah, douchebags on servers are a problem, albeit not one we can influence. Douchebags on our own forum, now that we can do something about. I don't see how a potential new FF player should need to be inundated with pointless flames whenever he crosses the line over into the "community" subforums.

I agree entirely. Putting it all in to a subsect of the forum at the very bottom that reads (Flames Only: Cesspool) would be a very clear warning for those new to the community that that is the place to put your beef.

I'm telling you all this now. Designating a place for this stuff prolongs the community by giving people a place to vent without banning those that want/need to vent. You do not want to put off people that are in the community by banning them for stuff that should have a designated place. You also don't want to put off people who aren't in the community by having threads with flames on the main page because it will happen if you don't have a cesspool. It's proven that it will happen despite several warnings.

Just do it. I'll mod it. I don't care. No child porn, no racial slurs. Thems the rules. Abide by it.

Yea i think it would look good with a pink and purple polka-dot theme. Also add a "PANIC" button for when you think someone is flaming your thread so as to notify the moderators. And some nice drapes, maybe in fuschia.

These are very nice features, the social groups seems like a decent idea but I'm not 100 % sold on it. It would be something we would have to try out and see how it works. As far as clans having their own page I don't think FF site should be for that, A we are recruiting thread is fine or looking for a clan, That is what this section was originally started for if I remember right but half the threads have turned into shit fests and this isn't the Image we want to put out.
