UGC FF 5v Season 2 Preseason Week #3 - ff_startec
Alrighty here we go again. Let the flaming begin!!!!!!!!
7o vs snafu mimic vs NM fx vs fellas gr. vs eo The Predictions! 7o vs SNAFU - A new veteran clan vs a honorable clan. If SNAFU shows up im sure it will be a great match as these two clans battle it out. Watch for nukem to get the game winning save! Lawls 7o > SNAFU 160-60 mimic vs NM Last week NM man handled gr. on sd2. So this week i might open my eyes to their clan. If mimic brings in green mushy and TML into the offensive lineup. Look for mimic to bring home some caps on startec. I see this as the game of the week. I also vision NM to win this match since they did well against the other clans in previous matches. NM > mimic 290-200 fx. vs Goodfellas Luckily fx. is playing us on startec instead of sd2 . Anyway, all i can say about fx. is they got some of their previous members back along with some new ones. Like volt who is decent at soldier, which they really need. But i see the fellas putting another W on the board of preseason. Fellas > fx. 350-90 ITS GATOR!!! <3 gr. vs e0 Alright, looks like cleanup for gr. for the last match of the preseason. gr. > e0 260 - 50 It's ricey! |

welp so far I'm 3 for 3... lets see how this week goes.
7o vs snafu Assuming snafu does not forfeit, they will win this one because 7o's roster looks a little feeble at the moment. Don't forfeit this time snafu... Lets call it 14 to 28 for snafu mimic vs NM NM should take this one if they have a decent strategy lined up. We saw them beat gr. last week pretty easily and I predict the same for them vs mimic. mimic is not to be taken lightly I think however. NM should be on their toes. 38 to 22 nm fx vs fellas fx, recently reincarnated has some decent players but they can't take the fellas on a map the fellas like and play well. Fellas should win 44 to 17 gr. vs eo gr. should take this one because they have a stable roster and decent players. eo is having a little trouble with the recent split and formation of 7o. gr wins 40 to 18 |

Hmm, I'm gonna make my predictions a lil bit different than Hoop and Siscos since I think they predicted too high (and one match incorrect imo). I'll make them short and simple:
[7o] vs [SNAFU] These schedules couldn't get better. 7o will be able to get their first real match against a team that's highly respected in TFC. If SNAFU manages to pull a roster together on Thursday, something tells me that they'll be able to get their very first win in UGC. [SNAFU] 120 > [7o] 80 [mimic] vs ]NM[ I'm not impressed by NM's victory last week. Their match was pretty close until gr started having connection issues round 2. Not to mention that a shutdown2 win = whoever had the best soldier on the ramp...so it's not the best map to determine whos better. In the other hand, I can already tell that mimic might actually be able to pull a close win on this one. Why? If [mimic] is able to to play: HoldnToss Virus and Tim on Defense....and GreenMushy or Mono and TML on offense.... they WILL pull a very close win towards the end. Expect this match to be quite intense - but I don't see ]NM[ winning this time. [mimic] 250 > 230 ]NM[ fx . vs ( GoodFellas . ) Woah. Hoop and Siscos predicted the gap too be pretty high...and I don't think that's going to happen. fx. has a pretty decent roster and they won't allow us to cap that much. ( GoodFellas . ) 320 > fx . 200 [ gr . ] vs :e0: Hmm, it seems that the split of Eternal Order are givin them roster issues. Last week :e0: struggled to fill more than two....they ended up getting three ringers to run the match. Hopefully :e0: is able to pull their roster together this time and play a fun map. [ gr . ] will however do a cleanup like Hoopajoo said and win the match by a whole lot. [ gr . ] 530 > :e0: 50

I think the map is pretty good in that it allows for many different strategies and is also pretty balanced. It also allows for some skillful concs and team work.

My predictions: 3-0 so far - we'll see what happens on the last match this Thursday.
http://jbmpaintball.com/gator/matche...ek2/round1.jpg http://jbmpaintball.com/gator/matche...ek2/round2.jpg I guess hoop did a better job in predicting our match. Round2 was just messing around Mimic beat NM - good job guys e0 forfeited to gr - see - I knew they are currently having roster issues because of the split...

@hoop - the main reason I dislike that map so much is the 2 engy strat.. granted you can run a spy against it and work decently.. I just hate dealing with 2 sgs. Especially when one is built directly outside of respawn so it gets put back up faster than you take it down. |

2 SGs is an epic fail strat - didnt work for fx and I don't see it working for any clan...
The best things you can do in this map: O Demoman O Scout D Engy SG Middle FR In front of Spawn - NG Plays out front in water entrance D Soldier Left D Soldier Right Also, for all these teams who are doing these gay 2 sg strats...I'm just going to laugh at you in 2.1

That is not the strat that we wanted to run(we started out with the same as you 1 engi and 2 soldiers)...but sadly we had totally differnet member's playing then when we practiced, we were not ready(which is our fault) and hopefully we can get our shit ready for the actual season. GG Goodfellas, you guys were a real challange for us and look forward in playing you in the regular season! also Da-Icesta plays tf2 league, so that's why he was unaware of the no OvO rule etc...i would have informed him about it but it was on such short notice that i simply did not have time. |

GG ]NM[, i wanna thank jesus for this preseason win,
without him all of this wouldve been possible. i would also like to thank rodox's railgun for not showing too much of a presence. i also want to add that anyone making the predictions should now factor in Zuljin. He has not been put in the predictions as a key player when considering future scores. If you could please factor him in next week that would be greeeeat |
