FF_Dropdown: Intended issue?
This is something that has been bugging me for a few days now. It's intended that you can get the enemy flag even when the Security is up by flametrimping/grenade/conc/pipe/rocketjumping from the lower level? It feels a bit odd that there's no door or lasers in the lower part of the "tunnel" to prevent this.

Yeah... the "issue" you're mentioning is actually a "feature" and was designed this way for these reasons:
1. It prevents D stacking at the security button. If the flag was completely "locked" inside the cage, it would be tempting to just put all the D you can in the security button area and ignore the rest of the base. The way it is now, your team is forced to spread the D around. 2. It promotes the learning of flametrimping/grenade/conc/pipe/rocketjumping because those who bother learning these skills get an advantage. 3. It keeps the defense on their toes because even when security is up there's a chance that someone in flag room could grab your flag if you're not careful. Defense shouldn't leave flag room unattended when flag is in cage. If they do, it makes it alot easier for offense to grab the flag. But the fact that the flag is in a small cage and that you gotta go straight up to grab it makes it easy for anyone on defense who's in flag room to block you from grabbing it. |

It makes the map more open and fun than a laser-blocked lower access version would be
