Small Support Banner

This is something I whipped up in about 3 minutes with Paint. It turned out great, considering it took 3 minutes. Eventually I'll make a nice, original banner (With a background created by me.) rather than just clipping the logo and adding text in.

Thanks, but mine are only good looking because I cropped some great artwork from dr_nick, and slapped some text and borders on them. Yours actually took some effort.

But there is no computition here though. I know how to make stuff like that, I just never really had. If you wanted to play around you could do some animation... Maybe just make the words apear in order or something of the like...

And a lot of us think signatures look like crap and just make browsing the forum a pain. You have your avatar, now quit moaning. :P

if it gets too big its really too annoying .... but a small sig can make the forums a bit more colurful....

ideally phpbb wouldnt have the profile/msn/aim buttons along the bottom of every post either, and clicking on the name of the poster would go to the profile, but thats really for the phpbb S&I forums....

It tends to become sensery overload

Avatars are just small pics on the side. Sigs can have HUGE pictures between posts. It cuts up the boards which is anoying.

You know, it is possible to put restrictions on signatures. If it exceeds X kb, and is longer than Y or taller than Y, it will not be uploaded. I find a signature of 300 x 80 is best, or a small banner size (About the size of the first one.) Also, these are meant for [i]other[/] forums, as there's no point in advertising FF on the official FF forum.

Pictures in sigs aren't uploaded here though, they're just linked.
