Starving Dog

I'm going to post two links to an article brought to my attention by a friend.

I am skeptical of the truth to these articles so I was wondering if any of you guys had some insight to the web sites hosting them.Are they accurate, reliable sources or just bs sights?

The claim is that an artist tied a dog to a pole and starved it to death under the public eye as an art exhibit. Such an act is disgusting and terrible. So digusting, in fact, that it's illigal in the United States at least. I believe they say it took place at the "Central American Biennial Exhibition". I know little about their laws.

I was asked to sign a petition to save the dogs life (...even though it already died according the articles) I get the feeling this is just one of those stupid chain e-mails with fake crap that gets passed around. I wanted to know so I could tell my friend she's stupid, and to tell her friend that they are stupid, and so on.

It was on the TV a while back? Might of been another dog, I know this has happened several times before. It's sad people will do this for "art"

According to one of those articles the artist was apparantly feeding the dog regularly, and put him on display to show people that they were sick for ignoring him in the street. When he grew healthy he took him off display.

If that's the case, it's not really cruel at all.

....but again who knows?

There's this Ukrainian/Swedish artist you might like, she kills little furry animals for the sake of her art.

I say spill his guts using a filet knife in the front of everyone to show how using crueltry for art gets you killed. It would be such a wonderfull event that I am sure that all who had to attend if true would remember that day for the rest of their lives. Teach kindess through violence which is the best way to do it.

animals and children for all pratical purposes are all innocent. Now they may not be innocent in the eyes of god but it all depends on what you believe in. Now since man knows what they are doing and for what purposes except for a small percentage and to knowlingly know and do something like this means you are all used up. What I mean by that is that as a person you are all used up and there is nothing else. You cannot undo something like that thus you become a burden to the world and like trash if you keep it around everyone will be able to smell it. So you dispose of it however deems justification and proceed on with your life. Just maybe you will prevent someone else from doing it. I am all for criminals killing each other and I have no problem with that but starving a dog (if it is true) means you lost it all and now owe the house.

Thanks Fish........I was thinking the same think. I am innocent just like a child or a animal.

It seems that it's true there was a dog chained up for an art exhibity.

However, it does not appear that the dog was intentionally harmed, or denied food, free roaming and toys. Or at least it's uncertain according to the articles.
