yea its not always one idea being right, some times it s a mix of wrong ideas coming together to make something good.

I still say very fast (but not hitscan) non-charged bullets that have a huge hitbox are the way to go for the Sniper. The bullet's actual collision area would be slightly larger than it appears to be so the hitboxes actually look like they're working. That's the main problem with the Sniper honestly--the hitboxes are too screwy to be reliable. Thus, the Sniper isn't reliable.

of course thats only really talking about clan style games. Becasue medics have alot of use/piss off power, in pub style play, alot more then scouts do.
but this is a talk about how we can make the sniper better. personally i think the dev team should let us in on what they are planning on doing currently. I've heard from a couple of dev/beta team members that there are some plans for the sniper but it wasn't entirely finalized. telling us what is in mind might help to avoid another problem such as what happened when 2.0 came out. |
