Custom Crosshairs

Ok so I wanted to post this to see if anyone has found custom crosshairs that work best with different weapons / classes.

If you feel you have a really good crosshair for a specific class / weapon please post it here (include the numbers from the menu)!

???? I know people have them...what are you using? I want to try and get a nice guide up on the wiki of the best x-hairs to use for each class / weapon. But I personally haven't really customized my x-hairs much so I need feedback from you all!

Well, I use the circular dot ones for all of my weapons. I have found it best for the shotty and rocket launcher. Your center of focus is the center circle, however, if you have them in any part of that circle you'll probably hit them.

It also works rather well for the HW. It's a good reference point for his spread at the lowest clip.

I'll take some screens of it tonight.

I like and recommend a global crosshair, same for all weapons. cause personally when flipping though weps I focus on the crosshair change especially if they're complicated and/or pretty.

I use a high contrast dot in TFC, tried a dot in FF but it doesn't feel right.
Like Credge a simple dot circle is great (Q3 style). I'll definitely be choosing that when I get playing.

Sure thing I'll get all the info for it.

Also, the X-hair I'm using is a circle with lots of dots in it. It's not a Q3 style, but it works rather well for classes that use spread weapons or a rocket launcher.

I'll probably use this:

Maybe tinker with the sizes perhaps to suit you.

The crosshair menu is fantastic, I really liked that when I first saw it.

Edit:

Or the simple cross,

or a tinkerd one like this:

You're probably going to get bombarded with crosshair recommendation now.

This is what I use for all of my weapons. It also works well for nail guns as the nail will always hit in that middle circle.

I never understand the people looking for good ranged weapon(rpg, pipelauncher, nailgun, etc..) crosshairs. Considering the "hit" is different based on range, your crosshair will never be correct.

I think it is easier to compensate ranged shots on a normal crosshair than to compensate close shots on a ranged crosshair.

I think using no crosshair may actually have some benefits in aiming... Actually, I think I'll try that and tell you what it's like.

holy crap, I didn't know you could edit crosshairs to that extent! I knew about the global screen, but never thought to click for different shapes. Right now I have pink medium sized crosshairs for everything... cause that's how I roll.
