First off is there a Euro league running?

Second would any of you guys be interested in join up the UGC league...I know that right now we only have an american league and if you would be interested, I'm sure we could set something up for you all to play, but also how many Euro clans are out there? B/c if we have enough I know for a fact that Padawan will open up the euro leages...

Also the home and away teams could be literal. One map you can play on our servers, map two can be played on yours and vice-versa to somewhat even the playing field.

that's exactly what I was thinking...at least until we get enough euro / american teams to open up dedicated leagues for both.

Matches are two maps right? If this is the case then one map is played on each clans server this keeps it fair always. Unless the clan is server less then like previously stated then you play on the opposing teams server both maps.

In that league it's it to the clans what server is used, don't have much problems pinging to other parts of europe, suppose it can be a problem for the american clans. 1 clan picks 1 map, the other picks 1 map. I find the idea of playing the same map twice rather tedious, but I suppose it's fair if you're swapping servers.

I was under the impression that it was 2 SET maps (maps decided by UGC) with a 3rd possible tiebreaker. All the maps being different of course. This prevents a team that is dominant on a map from getting a default win.

Yeah it generally would be 1 round on Server A on map "blah". Then round 2 on Server B on the same map. It's essentially to make it fair, b/c even in the US some people have problems on some maps so you can't expect for teams to play on dif. maps b/c that could be a disadvantage to someone.

In NTFCL you can only pick a map as your home map once (from the selection of maps available), so you can't keep playing your strongest map against every clan. You can save your best map for a home map choice against the hardest clan in the league etc. . But you might play a map a few times in the league because the clan you play against has chosen it, get good at it, then choose it as your home map. That's the only thing I don't like about the system.

We honestly don't have a problem playing 2 different maps here, as long as they are a choice from each clan or even playing 2 maps on the same server, unless there are connection problems for one side.

Clan Untitled [-]
Erdnuckels-FF [En]
For Frags Sake FFS|
Legend FF 8on8 [-Lgd-]
Noobs on Tour *NoT*
The House of Lords [HoL]
The Proper Kings -{TPK}-
~Xeno-Project~ xeno

These are the only active euro FF clans left afaik.
The NTFCL league is running, but very slowly.

I think, even with a home and away system, it would be unfeasible to have EU vs US wars. Servers have a hard time handling 16ppl, so it would be unplayable for the away team.. i think..
