Map not matching the servers

HI,
This may come as a strange question but hopefully someone here will be abe to help me.

When i goto join a FF server, i am greeted by the message "your map does not match the server map".
Before u ask, NO i have not touched or even opened the map folders but i have changed all the class.cfg files.

Now the really strange bit is, that if my friends are in a FF server, i CAN click on their name and click "join game", and play the game that way. But some times i want to play a server when my friends are not playing. It seems like i can only join a game that my friends are playing.

Does anyone have a solution as to how i can join a server from the server list and not my friends list without getting the "your map dont match the servers"

Is this on any server? And have you tried a fresh install to see if maybe something was pooched during install?

if it's more then just one or two servers, the installer probably messed up. Remove FF and re-install
You might also want to check that you got the full FF installer... I'll try to post MD5 sums by tonight if no one else has

You just got a different version of the map . . .just like it said. So go into your maps folder and delete that map. Then reconnect and let it dload the new version of the map for you. If the server doesnt have an autodload service, then you dont really want to play on that server anyway.
