footsteps
Hey I own a FF server from Branzone. Whenever I try to do mp_footsteps 0 , it never turns off the footsteps on the server. I don't know if its a FF bug or what. If anyone knows anything about this or how to fix it, please let me know. Thanks.

It's intended that way. With TFC, there was a clear divide between footsteps on & off, so in FF we compromised by making foosteps always stay on, but making them quieter. I.e. FF's footsteps are half way between footsteps on/off in TFC. There is no way to turn 'em off.

So, am I right in saying that mp_footsteps does nothing at all? So, I can save CPU and disk space by removing it from my server.cfg?
