concs=black hole
i pasted in the fps config to my autoexec and it made my conc turn into a black hole. i skimmed through the commands but couldnt figure out which one(s) it is that changes this. can someone point me in the right direction as to how to get that back to normal or what commands make this happen?

I am guessing it was this one someone posted on here but I think the post was deleted for some reason because I can't find it now. I tried this and my fps went up but the concs look black now as well.
[Edit] The Devs are looking into the script to see what is causing it. Last edited by GeoKill----->; 09-16-2007 at 07:13 AM. |

Yeah I was wondering this too. Why did the thread that phoenix is talking about get deleted though, this script isnt illegal or anything is it? It did help with my fps.

it helped my FPS ALOT!! but it also made blackholes with concs but it made the spy cloak REALLY REALLY EASY to see....that might be why they deleted it

If it's turning the conc effect black, it probably means that the pixel shaders are being disabled, which kinda leaves a void where the effect would have been.

This cfg greatly helped myfps, and helps my game run much smoother. If someone looked into what causes this conc effect let us know.

it would be better if turning off pixel shaders left invisibility. that way people can turn off shaders without gaining a silly advantage against cloaked spies.

It's not turning off pixel shaders. We tracked down what is doing it, so it'll be fixed.

Ok well once you have an updated script, please release it, it made a huge difference in my fps and my game ran awesome. I think it was this way for many other people. Thanks.
