Why did you order the E-Penis ram? There is little (and I mean very little) difference between that and standard Crucial/Kingston/<insert make> ram (well, any difference you will notice).

You got ripped off.

i read alot about that ram and it being compared to Mushkin,OZC, and G-Skill(i think) and all the articles said that it was the better deal performance wise out of the 800's. so i got them. money wasnt a problem, i had it to blow.

now i just need the Q6600 and a graphics card and my comp is finished.

Compared to other E-Penis ram then yeah. But all types of E-Penis ram are not worth buying.

Read this

Skip to the conclusion for a run down if you want.

My point:

However, in the majority of benchmarks, hardcore memory speeds aren't faster than good old DDR2-800 at decent timings.

Its not a bad buy, its going to be very stable and reliable memory. I would have gone with GSkill (4-4-4-12 timing), tightened the timings a bit and synced with CPU. I think the price to performance ratio is pretty damn good with the GSkill sticks... though I don't have any experience with dominators so I can't say too much on the issue.

no, you bought the Good ol' LOL LOOK AT MY E-PENIS DDR2-800, which is the same as CHEAPER normal DDR2-800. Which is my point.

QFT

But then again, why would you want to listen to someone who's only been with a major computer memory manufacturer and distributor for nine years.

Damn I almost like the Tomshardware layout on .co.uk better than .com. Shit is too cluttered half the time. They should have just updated their old layout instead of shoving 98237498273 pieces of information onto the home page.

The only reason I try to get as much FPS as I can with Source games because Source engine shot registration is based on your fps. I think I remember reading with every time your screen updates it updates to the server to the max of the tick rate. So anything over 100 fps is good. Sorry if I'm being confusing but in Day Of Defeat: Source cal matches, I would bind a key to fps_max 5 and when I'm being shot at and reloading I would press it. I was unhittable
