ok, so i wanna upload a video to youtube. I got a 4GB 1024x768 8min AVI video. And i wanna know what i have to do to get it to youtube. Help plz

Video too large, compress it, not a single online video stream will host that huge file for you.

1024x768 is too large as well. Crank the resolution size down toooooo.

yes, i realize that it is that large, hight, width, and file size. what im asking is how should i get it to the point that i can get it on youtube

You'll have to compress it and resize. VirtualDubMod is what I use, get the DivX codecs or better if you know of any.

I am not quite sure where I got it, but SC Video Converter is awesome. I had humoungus files I wanted to put up on utube and this cute little program was able to shrink them down enough to upload to utube.

You can always upload it to Google Video. They do not care about the size of the video. Hell, I uploaded the Last Dinosaur vid (which was not on any streaming vid sites), and it was something in the order of 200 MB and 10+ minutes long.

Dude... that will take you FOREVER to upload unless you have some sickly fast fiber line...

Even at that rez, an 8 min long video should NOT be 4 gigs. compress down the mofo.
