The Super Mario Brothers Super Show. It had episodes of Mario Bros, The Legend of Zelda (my favorite), and I think it also had Captain N and the Game Masters. Badass show.

Of course, nothing beats Bucky. We should all wear a Bucky O'Hare costume and worship him; he is the closest thing to a deity...
Maybe not, but he is too good to ignore :P And it was a shame they cancelled it at a mere 13 episodes; it wasn't too feckin' violent...bloody arseholes. |

My Faves from that list, and a couple others:
Alf (1987-90) 5) Duck Tales (1986-91) Dungeons and Dragons (1983-87) Galtar and the Golden Lance (1985) Ghostbusters (1986-8 Smurfs (1981-86) ThunderCats (1985) Transformers (1984-8[/QUOTE] GIJoe Tom & Jerry Bugs Bunny Gummi Bears Duckman **The Alf cartoon was brilliantly insane as I recall. Baseball w/ fish for balls ftw. **After Gummi Bears and Duck Tales, the Disney toons went downhill imo. (not as smart any more) **The Real Ghostbusters was great, though it went downhill after the first season or so. It got more kiddie, and I didn't like changing Venkman's voice actor or the visual makeover they gave Janine (she was spunkier before ) **Duckman wasn't really a kids' cartoon, but I'm older than many of you so I still remember it as part of my 'childhood' lol. So how about currently airing cartoons? My faves: The Venture Bros Avatar: The Last Airbender Good, good stuff. I need to rewatch all of Transformers after I finish my Babylon 5 watching binge. Great to rewatch stuff you already mostly know while you are working on other stuff- in this case, sorting and packing my stuff for moving eventually... |
