Looks liek the story will be shit, and the fight scenes 98% of the movie. But it looks like fun. I like not being able to recognize the actors.

This movie looks incredible. I watched the trailer a couple weeks back and its amazing that all the scenery in that movie is digital. There's also continuous fight scenes so its minutes of straight action without cutaways.

I think it looks pretty impressive. Need to get the original graphic novel to read first. When is it out?

Visually it looks pretty impressive, but then so was Sin City and I didn't think much to that. It might be worth seeing at the cinema anyway I guess, but September is a long way away so its hardly worth getting excited over now....

How does that change anything he said? Just because it's based of real events, doesn't mean the way in which he presents it (i.e. the story) can't suck.

World Trade Center was based off of real events, and it was a piece of shit. And that was a movie based on a very recent and well documented event.
This, on the other hand, is a movie, based on a comic book, based on something that happened ages ago. Each person who described it added their own touch. This has the possibility to be the least accurate most poorly written movie ever made. So no, soulcutter, you don't have a point. |
