there are some that i have bought but they are more for video and not games
sometimes ill use kazaa lite to loook for sound FX
if you google with some key words youl find at least 10 sites with sounds but most of them youl have to rework because of their quality

some sounds i make from scratch with a signal genreator
and some sounds are just accidents that end up being usefull

when i was in college i used the BBC sound library and the Warnerbrothers sound library but those are over $1000.00 to buy

as for the ssg pump being synthetic thats ok with me because ive already taken flac for it sounding like a cs shotty and FF isnt that interested in realism
