New TF2 Footage

Gamespot has released a video showcasing Portal and TF2. The video is called "Half-Life 2: Orange Box Portal Stage 1 Demo". Halfway in, they start talking about TF2 and show footage from the game. It shows some old stuff that we've already seen, but also shows some new first-person views as well as some of the taunts.

Is Hydro just like dustbowl or dust but with the zone that opens up randomized?

As for charging for future maps, they essentially said that they have not worked out getting the content to 360 players for free.

I really wish one of the questions was about Fortress Forever. Nice serious journalism they have going there where they completely do not address any of the competition.

They mentioned shipping with ONLY 6 maps (correct me if I'm wrong). I'm sorry, but 6 maps is NOTHING. I'm sure we've all played a long night of games and needed a completely different map to try out. For PC this isn't too bad... more will come free from valve and users. For those on the PS3 and 360... you're kinda screwed.

why would ps3 and 360 be screwed, valve will release maps and content for all versions totally free

I was actually interested in Portal, and the gameplay video alone (it was live gameplay, not off of a video) really gave me insight into the game. I am really excited about it.

I need to get a new HD so I can jam all of these games onto my comp. >_<

Anyway, hardly recognized Well... 2fort looks about the same, but they replaced the elevator with stairs.

the only thing new that i hadnt seen was the teleporter animation. Everything else didn't look new. and his explanation of portal was the same as the official trailer, except that he was doing it live
