What should I do?

I have been trying to get my friends to play this with me, but they are too pulled in by TF2 for only one reason... They normally suck ass at all online games, so when they played TF2 and immediately did well, they became addicted to it. Then when they tried out FF for the first time (with no previous TFC experience) they got their asses handed to them.

I am annoyed because I dislike TF2, all the skill involved to play the game has gone out the window, but my friends like to play it... Any ideas that will perhaps get them addicted to FF instead? (Like what classes/maps/server should I put them on to get into the game more)
