Making Vids using HL2 demos

Jiggles helped me tons and got me started last night but now I've come across a problem. When I do startmovie, run the demo and let it finish, it doesn't record any sound for me in my filename.wav file. Its just a 0:00 wav file and I don't know what the fark to do to get sound into it.

I'm working with VirtualDubmod as well, any tips you can give is appreciated.

See if that helps, don't record in a higher mode. Also, check this out:

When using fraps to record a demo, i can hear the sound when the demo plays but itdoesnt save it with the footage. i have speakers set to 2 and all the volume controls up. help!

I have to ask. You do have 'Record Sound' ticked in the 'Movies' tab, right?
