FF Community TFC Server

Hi all,

I would have posted this in the other thread, but it's 6 pages long and full of unrelated stuff (like people not being able to find the old server).

Anyways, as part of the Fortress related website type thing that's in development, I have an (Unofficial) 16 slot, FF TFC community server up-and-running but I need some input from you guys to see what you want.

- Passworded or not?
- What maps? I want to keep it n00b friendly, but maps that will get played.
- What server config? Someone wanna send me one please?
- Any admin mod type things?

Also, the server comes with Ventrilo, any use?

Thoughts welcome peeps

I don't see a need for a password.
Check the Super Maplist Thread. As many of those as possible.
As far as configs I'd prefer friendly fire be completely off and a decent timelimit. Other than that it doesn't really matter.
Basic AdminMod type stuff would be fine, but once it gets all convoluted it's time to stop.

Circuitous - Won't be giving out the IP until I have it all sorted (the server, not the site).

Dr Zoidberg - I'd like something a lil bit different!

Well ravage some map packs so you can play you know what map u want by voting.

get Amx mod? Good mod.

And you can set the voting so it'll work etc. And get an Irc channel and create gathers to it or whatever.

Then Let it Roll AvD Maps round n round? Primarily the FF maps or whatevah

Ok..

I have a few things setup but I'm interested to know how you all ping (as it's a UK server). Only one map in cycle atm (Murderball) until I hear what ya'll think.

Not an awful ping but it takes getting used to.
