Recommend me a good sampler/looper pedal ITT
Possibility of recording multiple samples and playing them back on the fly required. The idea is to jam with myself while playing guitar.

are these sound effect type samples or just raw guitar loops recorded on the fly? if theyre proper samples, id go for a midi based sampler unit and a midi stomp box
EDIT: why not just reply with that info? it makes me look a fool. i use a korg AX1500G for that stuff btw, but it only does one track. any more and i just fire up protools/cubase etc Last edited by mervaka; 07-03-2006 at 10:56 PM. |

I have the Boss DD-20 (http://www.zzounds.com/item--BOSDD20) and I love it...up to 23 seconds loop time and yeah just read the damned specs . Plus its just an awesome delay pedal. The dude from coldplay uses it.
And then theres the Line6 DL4 (http://www.zzounds.com/item--LINDL4) which is just as pwnage if not more. Matt Belamy from Muse uses it, and so does Tom Morello. Its just a badass pedal with awesome looping/delay features. I recommend going to a Guitar Center (if you have one close to you) and peep game. Fun stuff, laterz. |

I went for the Boss RC-50 after all. It has a few quirks, but it's a great pedal all in all. 20 minutes of stereo recording, multiple phrases, etc..
I'm still on the lookout for the ultimate perfect loop pedal of obliteration but this will do for the time being. (sorry merv I didn't think about that ) |
