I recall FF_Well being talked about in the interview on october 5
that brought a qustion. In TFC the waterways in Well where green. Are you all going to change the water color or will you be sticking to the green? Thanks for Reading. |

Keep it toxic green? 'Cause I was kinda hoping they'd change that. Come to think of it, well will play a lot differently with transparent water (Which I'm assuming will happen).

I'm actually making well right now. I haven't swayed either way with the water colour. I want to do some falling water, which might look very strange in green so I will probably stick to normal water. Yes and the water will be transparent and yes this will change the gameplay I think.

How else are you supposed to defend the water route?

I think the water should stay so that if you go underneath, you can't be sen from above. So if the water will be clear... can you make it really murky perhaps?

there is a slime water texture in hl2, if you go deeper than 5 cm, you cant see in it, but something that will change definatly in source is the max view distance under the water surface ...

What happened to Zouave, wasn't he working on well?
Also an idea... make the water/pipe so you can conc in from outside and 'shark' it? Might make hwg there more interesting and like yeah (although it does add a lack of drowning). |

I think if you had the falling water coming out of a really gross looking pipe, the green could be done so it looks good. Well isn't well without the green water, IMO.
