Does CorsuS mean periodic patches / updates instead of huge one's that take months?

Sorry bout the huge title, but i tried to make it as specific as possible so a Dev will look here:

Now that you guys (dev's) have decided to use this program, does that mean that instead of having to wait for a full patch up-date (months / weeks) you will be able to release some of the not so major changes periodically on CorsuS? Such as the one DrEvil stated HERE?

RIGHT ON!!! Does CorsuS have an auto update function or will the updates be reported here?

~also ty for the quick reply.

On that note for anyone who had trouble's dl'ing thru CorsuS you have to create an account and THEN dl if not it will just sit there. SO create an account NOW!

I like the idea. If this implemented early enough it will become a regular routine for all players to use.

Maybe you should consider taking manual installation d/l's down all together? That way people will be forced to become familiar with the auto update(s).

The crappy part is there isn't currently an automatic way for server ops to update their servers, esp linux servers, so in the case of some fixes that are server side as well the bottleneck would be getting servers to update.

ah I see...well lame! What if you just name the file Server Update package or something...geneally if people see that they will ignore it unless they have a server and will opt for the CorsuS way (especially if it's either that or the "server file")

Most people are gullable. They will believe what you tell them b/c you are in a position of leadership...

use SVN or CSV instaid of crosus, those have also linux version and can even be used to update 1 file

and those allow anonymous logins to get the content, all you need is to build mirrors network, but i'm sure you'll find people willing to host the content servers
