Well, GLADOS was lying about the cake. The game developers, however, were not. Since GLADOS is the only one who told you about the cake and it did not provide one, nor demonstrate any intention of providing one, the cake is in fact a lie.

so you guys found that little file floating around. hehe... ahem. yeah. I found the "karaoke" version around somewhere and took the words from one of the developers and fired up audacity and recorded it. I had good fun, but to be honest it is unofficial stuff. Just me screwing around.
