its not on steam

well, I'm the new guy around here, i've played FF before, but this is the first time I put it in my pc, so, here it goes.

I have a problem, I installed it (I did it before, I knew how to do it) and then I applied the Patch, but my problem is when I open up Steam, it does not show the game, it only shows the games I already have.

does anybody knows what can I do?

ps: I installed it in the same folder as Steam

steam/steamapps/sourcemods thats why it's not showing it doesn't go in steam folder. Also check yourm steam tools menu and make sure "sdk base" is installed.

yeah well, that's what I meant when I said "its on the same folder than Steam". and no, I don't have source sdk on the tools tab, but I assumed it would work cuz I have HL2DM installed...

anyway, i'll see if I can post a pic. cya

Did you buy HL2DM or did you get it for free? If you got it for free then it does not come with the source sdk

This happened to me with other source mods. I ended up never getting to play them.

I got it for free with my Nvidia card, and I thought it would work, specially cuz when I used to play it on PacSteam (yeah, I played it pirate, not proud of it, but my only choice) It run perfectly, also, I put a Source SDK Base cfg in the steam apps folder, in order to download it, since I made a backup from my last legit game. please, tell me there's a way to play it without needing to buy another legit source game, they are way too expensive (they want $275 for The Orange Box legit package)
