Whatever happened

to Core2 Quad processors? Did I buy the last computer with one in it?

I see alot of people with Core2Duos.... but never see Quads.

they still around

duos are still cheaper and with the coming of I5 and I7 processors, dont think ppl will buy the Core2 quad, i didnt.

I've got a Core 2 Quad.
What happened was that laptops and "average desktops" are still using Dual Cores and gamers have moved to the i7s. However I think there are still many computers being sold with Core 2 Quads...

That and almost all "name brand" computer sales companies like Dell, HP, etc - offer Core2Quads, but it's mostly a decision on the average consumer's part.

"Do I really need a quad? Probably not, i'm only going to be going online for email, school, youtube, myspace/facebook/twitter. And I can play Farmville on a Core2Duo anyway."
