Spy feign death
From the posts I have read I can't tell if this has been removed, or if it was a joke. Or maybe I am just in denial. Did this *really* get removed, and if it was due to limitations in the Source engine, what roughly was the issue?

*sigh* Thanks much for the response. I had assumed that was the issue, but was in firm denial Spy and Medic are my favorite classes.
You guys are just friggen amazing, but I imagine you know that. All the guys at work here (we're all developers) are frothing at the mouth to get a hold of FF Right now we play TFC during lunches, but some folks have moved on to other companies over the last year so we would like to hop on a public server and frag the hell outta each other again >:- ) Besides, the artwork in FF is NICE. That video of Dustbowl has us drooling big time! Still, I am gonna miss building a SG on top of a feigned Spy >:- ) |

Building a SG on them is much more fun, especially if you have only reflective Freindly Fire on >:- )
Although, there is a lot to be said for standing on 'em as a spy and sleep darting them to death >:- ) I wouldn't do these things on a public server, but against the guys and gals here at work, HELL yea!! |

Hmm, its proven that you can ragdoll AI (That will recover and function normally again.) Dark Mesiah shows it. But I suspect it would be harder in Multiplayer/with a real player.

The problem is not getting up from a ragdoll. The problem is having that ragdoll look the same on everyone's computer. This is not a problem with single player games since everyone's computer = just yours.

Its the other way around. It doesn't the arrangment of limbs of the ragdoll, but the exact position.

I imagine making a realistic "getting up" animation from an arbitary feign position is quite tough, too..
