First of all i don't know if its legal to make other game map remake but still if you don't approve it i'l stop its development!!
I'm more a Unreal Tournament fan and like that map called Face so i decided to make one for FF , my map is 30-35% finished so i was able to make some screens Screens Teleports: I think i'l make teleports something like this Last edited by jancuks; 02-19-2008 at 09:36 AM. |

Looks really good, especially considering the textures are only the official ones! Lighting is nice and subtle too, I remember face being very small inside though I take it your changing it for ff? Not sure why you would do that....
Legal? unless you get a cease and desist email/letter don't worry about it tbh, we are small fry to such companies. Also try to add some meaning or purpose to the connecting rooms like in one of your screen shots. |

i have unreal tournament and ut2004 remix 2004 had bigger inside
yes i'l add, i just finished the big room, now i have to continue rooms etc |

Cant help but feel the torches should be another model to the supports on the first floor screenshot one, perhaps using another* uplight-like model?

Wow I really dig this. Lighting is perfect. Architecture is Unique. Well used of the ff textures.

I'm not seeing any pics. I'm a big UT fan. The graphics in UT were always awesome. I remember one volcano map which must of been a mile around even though you could only play in the center... there were no walls... just an endless horizon of lava and rock which seamlessly blended into the sky.
So anyways I was wondering how you could balance this map for FF. In UT it was a snipers map (enormous yard & tiny interior). I might recommend the yard be made a little bit smaller for FF (similar to Monkey). And maybe make the interior of the base a little bigger with catwalks for soldiers and SGs (similar to Smooth). Just a few suggestions. I'm a UT fan also and enjoy designing well balanced FF maps. Need any help just ask! |
