Parts vs Price
Okay, What do you think of the parts for the price? I know its not an absolutely amazing rig, but I don't really give a flying penis about DirectX10, and just want to get rid of my 9800 Pro, AGP isn't clever anymore, and neither is Athlon XP 2800.. I do like my PC, but it struggles on too many occasions in Half-Life 2, and I want to have something a little more playable for when Fortress Forever is finally released. It seems a lot of you seem to know your shizzle when it comes to Hardware, so heck- what do you think?

Er...939 Socket and AM2 are different. The cooler wont fit. The antec case is like £20 more anyway, stock AMD coolers are pretty good, I got one on my new X2, and its a lot quieter than the old stock 3500+ one.

I'm pretty sure I read the spec of the cooler and it will fit on 940 as well.. AM2. Either way if u say that the AMD coolers are okay, I may as well use the stock one, that saves me some cash for the antec case if it is only £20 more..
As for GPU I keep changing my mind, It has to be below £130... Ideas? |

Whilst they are quite generic categories, I'd say this fits my target best.. |

I know its not xtx- and only a pro, but I've found a x1950 256mb for £110?
I've read a few reviews and looked at benchmakrs, they seem okay? I think the price will drop in around June quite badly though due to Dx10 so I may as well wait and grab a XTX? |
