(Review) Call of Cthulhu: DCoTE

Considering I got past the bug that prevented me from proceeding (I had to download a savefile, as everyone with a new video card will have to do), I must say the game has become more interesting toward the end. The boss fights are simple, but pretty intense (fuck yeah giant bosses)

But it's still buggy as fuck, annoying to do certain things, and the sanity system rages me because the closer to insanity Jack is, the higher the mouse sensitivity is, making aimming an annoyance. Then again.. I heard this game was rushed at its endings by a single developer because the project had presumably died considering the company's liquidation. The single developer loved the project and apparently finished it himself. I think this is the story, and if it is.. I'm more forgiving than before.

The game's not scary, but it does get interesting in its own right. I'm mean, fuck.. It's Lovecraft. The story's at least going to be good.
