College Shooting at NIU

There was a shooting at NIU earlier today.
~18 were injured although news is still unfolding.

And no, Jack Thompson has yet to say anything to my knowledge.

I am guessing that some guys heart was crushed on Valentines day with a girl he had no chance so to show his feelings he walked into her class and started shooting people. It is valentines day and there was a reason for it that it occured today. What else would you shoot at people on V-day?

Love can make you do crazy things and in some people love can make you kill people. I stick with my observation that he was broken hearted and wanted to show his love for some girl.

We have all done weird things for the affections of the oppostie sex. Some seem to have taken it a bit far for my taste. They do say that love gives you that special feeling that you cannot shake no matter how much you try.

I think he said 4 males and 2 females (I can be wrong)

All those injured were students. Although I believe they have already said that the shooter was NOT a student.

Incredibly horrible.

Growing up and living not 30min from Tech it was a disgusting feeling to have it be so close to home.. Texting friends to just make sure they were ok.. Getting replies from people locked in a bathroom, letting them know whats on the news.

VA Tech shooter was diagnosed as being crazy.. I think anyone who would want to cause harm to innocent people are completely crazy. Diagnosed or not but something had to of been wrong with the guy.

All of it is sickening.
