FF keeps crashing!!!
Sometimes when i play ff i can play for about 3 hours straight, but most of the time it usually freezes when your in the team selection or when it says retrieving server info or sending client info. I usually have to click the windows button to close it or force restart my computer. It also freezes when im playing the game. I counted a total of 35+ freezes and the dreadful sound loop.

Whats your specs? specifically your RAM. Put the command below in your launch options depending on how much RAM you have (eg. 1 gb -heapsize 52428
512MB System Memory: -heapsize 262144 1GB System Memory: -heapsize 524288 2GB System Memory: -heapsize 1048576 Also try this. - Go to start>run>type in: prefetch >delete ALL the files in there. - Go to start>run>type in: %temp% >delete ALL the files in there. The %temp% files may have some that cannot be deleted so be sure to have your applications closed. PLEASE TELL ME IF THAT HELPS YOU. I am trying to see if that works for anyone else. finally i would suggest getting a FPS config if you havent got it. |
