You guys should submit FF to gamespot (however you do that) because its a rather popular site. Just a suggestion.

User created mods are not listed on Gamespot, unless a game developer goes out and buys them.

How do we know it's gonna be better, anyway? It could rule, it could suck, it could be so different that it's hard to tell. Sure Valve has more money to put into it, as well as professional developers, but where's the HEART? We'll see!

Gaming website not listing user-created mods = gaming website not serious about gaming

You would have to be completely ignorant of the gaming scene to not list user-created mods. There are a slew of successful ones.

What about Desert Combat? That was a fairly nice mod. etc.

Most gaming websites that cover PC + Consoles are biased against the PC, because the console market is much larger.
