Guild Wars
Just wondering if we have any players here. Maybe we could start an FF guild or something, or just adventure together.
I got the game 2 days ago, so I"m still fairly weak. If you ahve a character, post stats here, and we should play sometime. Sir Yu Suke Elementalist/Monk Level 9 And GW happens to own WoW. |

Dammit. Just as I was posting I was thinking there was probably a thread for this already, but I didn't see one so I posted anyways.
I screw up the first thread I've made in... ever. Except for the BAUT, which is still going strong. |

gw has no end game content whatsoever. I'm sorry but the PVP sucks also.

im havin a blast with it for now. Factions, has just been announced with looks pretty good, but to be honest this is just holding me off until NWN2 comes out.
Jan 20th thru the 22nd is some sort of free trail of the second chapter using PvP with premade chars using the new professipons and skills and whatnot. http://www.guildwars.com/press/pr13-10-01-06.html as far as storyline goes, its pretty weak, but im in it for the battle and the story that it *does* have is sufficient for now. |

I guess I like some story on an FPS, but for an MMO, I just wanna party and kill some bitches. The story doesn't seem to bother me. I don't even know what it is, I just skip all the cutscenes.

Just picked up the Feb. 2006 issue of Computer Gaming Mag which goes over the recently announced "Factions" and where they profile the cities, assassin, and ritualist plus a bunch more. worth the read. includes a lot of pics not on the net.

Looking at the pictures of the armor design remind me why I hate all MMOs that aren't Asheron's Call.

eh, ok. hating a game because of how armor looks is a bit shallow imo. how the game plays is another. I for one never liked the concept of mmo's. in fact this is the only one I play because im against paying a monthly fee after ive already shelled out 50 bucs for a game. But hey, I need *something* to keep me busy until FF comes out

Yeah, the no monthly fee thing really attracted me to it. Another thing I like is that when you're out in the wild, you only encounter people from your party. I like this a lot more than a game like Lineage 2.
