This is somewhat unrelated, but what about integrating the FF wiki ingame? How about integrating IRC ingame?
For example, on the main menu there could be a option to press "Guides" or "Information" or whatever, and it could take you to an easy to navigate wiki page, right where a player can see map information, class information, general guides etc.
And IRC where they can connect straight to #ff.pickup ingame.
Man i wish this game was popular :S
