[ Description ]
Far Manager is a program for managing files and archives in Windows operating systems. Far Manager works in text mode and provides a simple and intuitive interface for performing most of the necessary actions:

- Viewing files and directories.
- Editing, copying and renaming files.
- Syntax highlighting in program source texts.
- Working with FTP-servers (including access through proxy).
- Search and replace in many files at the same time, using regular expressions.

I use it for doing everything in windows when it comes to file management: opening files, browsing files, organizing files, and even for uploading and downloading via FTP. The only time I don't use it is to browse pictures since it's a command prompt based program it doesn't have picture support for obvious reasons.
