both of those look like you could addon to the code to accommodate whatever features you need. however you have to have time and a dedicated coder for that.
so it looks like we have a winner unless we decide to go down the path of basically modifying/making your own.

the wyupdater seems to do everything one could need or want, you can even roll back updates. (
features) However for me anyways the 85 dollar price tag is still a concern. Is it really worth 85 dollars to a
mod? (plus having to pay for major updates down the road... even if they are discounted.) Though it does all the things you need it to do, and more. So if it means less work and faster updates it could easily pay for itself in keeping the player count up and the mod updated.
