yesterday my nvid 8800gtx died while playing just cause 2.

I rebooted/disassembled and tried everything under the sun but yet it still showed artifacts during bios screen and was unable to properly load in windows.

I bought this card 3.5 yrs ago so warrenty was out of the question so I seeked extremer measures.

I removed cooler, coolpaste. I heated up my oven to 220c. Then put it in with the card memchips etc facing downwards. set the timer to 10 minutes, then let is cool off for 10 minutes orso reassembled the card with cooler,paste etc. no visible damage to card.

And it's working perfectly again
