How is that different from what I posted? Without The Essentials...you would not have access to the features that make this ideal. Anyway you have the ESXi which is already (or will be shortly) positioned to compete with this "free" version.
Respectfully I disagree with your position that "citrix just took a huge shit on vmwares doorstep and lit it on fire."
For that matter....Hyper-V is "free" as well.
