No, it didnt bug me much once I figured out the basics. I think LUA is a great idea because you can do alot with it but Im sure it probably bugs some mappers quite abit

I just got into mapping last night, and one of the things I'm worried about is having to learn LUA for FF maps. I've never used a programming language before.
From what I've read from map developers, I do agree with what you've said about LUA. I imagine it was a pain in the ass to recreate the CTF gamemode every time you made a CTF map. LUA manages to make things much easier for the dev, allowing him to use a universal base CTF script and slightly modify it for his needs.
